Here I stand
Stand in awe of you.
Where is our divine romance?
Being pulled in two directions,
Lord i know you're the better of the two,
but instead i choose the other.
Fighting the battle to overcome the world,
My heart grows weary
and my mind tired.
To get back to you Lord
the road is clear,
but my eyes are blinded.
So i stumble and fall,
being caught by your outstretched hand
just before i hit the ground.
How many times Lord?
How many times will I fall,
lose sight of the road,
before I give myself over completely.
Wait for me.
I will come,
come stumbling and falling,
bruised and broken,
doing my best to follow your road
and continue to hold onto your outstretched hand.

i'm coming.
Be patient
i'm seeking.
Be loving
because I am broken.

i'm learning.
Be powerful
i'm weak.
Be gracious
because I have strayed.
